CEO Statement
My name is John Evans. I was formerly a chef in New Orleans. When my wife’s job whisked us to Paris, the City of Lights, I was promised a gourmet adventure. I began to take food tours. However, eight food tours later, all I had were macarons, baguettes, and a sense of déjà vu. Disillusioned, I realised these tours were stuck on repeat, offering a sugar-coated glimpse, not the soul of French cuisine. The tours were all copying each other and not offering good value to the consumer. Chef Tours was born out of a desire to give the consumer a passionate, authentic look behind the curtain. We will expand slowly to ensure that all of our tours meet Chef PJ’s standards.
