Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all tours and experiences booked with The Chef Tours PJ Tours (“The Chef Tours,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It forms part of our Terms & Conditions. Please read it before booking.
1. Standard tours
- You may cancel a standard tour up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time via the booking platform you used to make the reservation.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour are not eligible for a refund.
- No-shows and late arrivals that prevent you from joining the tour are not eligible for a refund.
2. Bookings made through Viator
Bookings made through Viator cannot be refunded for any reason. If you booked via Viator, your reservation is also subject to Viator’s own terms and cancellation rules, which apply in addition to this policy.
3. Private tours
- Private tours require at least 14 days’ notice to cancel.
- Cancellations made with less than 14 days’ notice may not be eligible for a refund, in whole or in part.
4. Rescheduling
If you need to change the date or time of your tour, contact us as early as possible at Operations@thecheftours.com. We will do our best to accommodate you subject to availability. Rescheduling fees may apply in some cases.
5. How refunds are issued
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method or through the platform used to book.
- Refunds may take a number of business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or the booking platform.
- Charges and refunds associated with direct bookings appear on your statement as “Chef Tours.”
6. Cancellations or changes by us
If we cancel a tour (for example due to weather, safety, venue availability, illness, or insufficient bookings), we will offer you the choice of rescheduling to another available date or receiving a full refund of the amount you paid to us for that tour. We are not responsible for any related costs you may have incurred, such as travel or accommodation.
7. Gift certificates
Gift certificates are subject to any terms stated at the time of purchase and are generally non-refundable, though they can be used to book an available experience.
8. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.
