2. Bookings

• Reservations are made through our secure website or through authorised third-party booking platforms (such as Viator). A booking is confirmed only once you receive an automatic confirmation containing your tour details and meeting location.
• Standard tours require a minimum of 2 guests and have a maximum group size that varies by tour (typically 8–14 guests). Private tours can accommodate larger groups (up to 26 guests in Paris; custom sizes elsewhere) and are quoted on request.
• Tours may be booked up to 4 hours before departure, subject to availability.
• Walk-ups and cash payments are not accepted. All bookings must be made and paid for in advance.
• You are responsible for providing accurate booking information, including the correct number of guests and any dietary requirements or allergies.

3. Prices and payment

• Prices are shown at the time of booking and include all food and drinks for the experience unless stated otherwise.
• Gratuities are not included but are appreciated.
• Payment is processed securely through our payment and booking providers. Charges appear on your statement as “Chef Tours.”
• Private tours and custom experiences are quoted individually. Gift certificates are available and are subject to any terms stated at the time of purchase.

4. Cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary:

• Standard tours may be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance via the booking platform you used.
• Bookings made through Viator cannot be refunded for any reason.
• Private tours require at least 14 days’ notice to cancel.
• To reschedule, contact Operations@thecheftours.com. Rescheduling fees may apply in some cases.

5. Dietary requirements and allergies

All tours are vegetarian-friendly. Vegan, gluten-free, and kosher options are available on a limited basis and cannot always be guaranteed. You must notify us of any dietary restrictions or allergies at the time of booking. While we take reasonable steps to accommodate disclosed needs, we assume no responsibility if a guest consumes items that were not specially prepared for their restriction. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before booking to confirm whether we can safely accommodate you.

6. Your responsibilities during a tour

• Arrive on time at the designated meeting point. Tours depart as scheduled; late arrivals may be unable to join and may not be entitled to a refund.
• Follow the reasonable instructions of your guide and behave respectfully toward guides, venues, other guests, and the public.
• You are responsible for your own belongings and for meeting any local legal drinking age where alcohol is served.
• We reserve the right to refuse service or remove any guest whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or unlawful, without refund.

7. Changes and cancellations by us

Occasionally we may need to modify a tour itinerary, venue, chef, or timing, or cancel a tour due to circumstances beyond our control (including weather, safety, venue availability, illness, or insufficient bookings). Where we cancel a tour, we will offer you a reschedule or a refund of amounts paid to us for that tour. We are not liable for incidental expenses (such as travel or accommodation) you incur in connection with a changed or cancelled tour.

8. Health, safety, and fitness to participate

Our tours involve walking, standing, and eating and drinking over an extended period. You are responsible for ensuring you are physically able to participate. Please inform us of relevant medical conditions in advance. You participate at your own risk to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, images, logos, branding, and tour descriptions — is owned by or licensed to The Chef Tours PJ Tours and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it without our prior written permission.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Chef Tours PJ Tours, its owners, employees, guides, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in a tour, including illness, allergic reaction, injury, loss, or damage, except where caused by our negligence and to the extent such liability cannot be excluded by law. Our total liability in connection with any tour shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for that tour. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Third-party platforms and links

When you book through a third-party platform (such as Viator), that platform’s own terms and cancellation rules also apply, and may differ from ours. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites linked from the Site.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Chef Tours PJ Tours from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful or negligent conduct during a tour.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kentucky, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your booking. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent changes.
